Multilingual Support

GST Bill is designed for Indian businesses across different states and regions. The entire interface is available in four languages so you can work comfortably in the language you prefer.

Switching Languages

You can switch languages at any time:

1. Look for the language switcher in the top navigation bar (shown as flag icons or language abbreviations) 2. Click your preferred language 3. The entire interface switches immediately — no page reload required for most sections

The language preference is saved to your session and, if you are logged in, associated with your account so it persists across logins.

What is Translated

The following parts of the app are fully translated into all four languages:

- Dashboard and navigation menus

• Invoice creation and management screens
• Customer management screens
• Company settings
• Email templates (interface labels)
• Documentation and help pages (main pages)
• Error messages and notifications

  Invoice PDFs and Language

  Invoice PDFs are currently generated in English regardless of the interface language. This is intentional — GST invoices in India are generally expected to be in English or a bilingual format.

  Future updates may add the option to generate bilingual PDF invoices.

  Language on the Documentation Page

  The documentation (including this page) is available in all four languages. To switch documentation language:

  1. Go to the Documentation section

> If a specific article is not yet translated, it will display in English as a fallback.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I set a default language for my account? Yes. The language you select is saved to your account. Next time you log in, the interface will load in your preferred language automatically.

Q: Are invoice PDFs available in regional languages? Not currently. PDFs are generated in English. Bilingual PDF support is on the product roadmap.

Q: What if a page shows in English even though I selected Hindi? Some pages may not yet have complete translations. The system falls back to English for untranslated content. We're continuously expanding translations — if something important is missing, let us know at admin@gst-bill.com.
